Introducing the production process of our most popular accordion long wallet!

We focused on the production process of our most popular accordion long wallet, the G-10 .
It all starts with cutting the leather.
1. Cut the leather from the pattern
The only thing that is done is the cutting staff.
This is because cowhide is a natural material and has scratches and wrinkles, which requires skilled techniques to identify.
The rest of the process is then carried out by a single craftsman until the very end.
2. Adjust the thickness of the leather
From here on, the creator in charge will handle it until the very end!
A machine called a skiving machine is used to even out the parts to the appropriate thickness.
If it's too thick it will be heavy, and if it's too thin it will be less durable.
Whether the bag turns out beautifully or not depends on this process.

3. Preparation before sewing
The maker prepares the ingredients at his own work table.
We apply dye, polish, install zippers, etc.
Assemble the parts using double-sided tape for temporary attachment.
Hand-sewn embroidery is also done at this time.

4. Now it's time to sew!
It is sewn using the famous SEIKO TE-2 machine from several decades ago.
We use thick needles and thread to sew the bags into sturdy pieces. We have six sewing machines, each with a different function.
5. Treating the thread with a lighter
People are surprised when they ask, "Isn't it hot when you touch the fire with your finger?" Of course it is hot (laughs).
Use a lighter to remove any loose threads at the beginning and end of the stitching.
After this, the sewing and thread processing process is repeated many times.
6. Metal fastening
Secure the metal fittings with a hammer.
There are various types of metal fittings, such as rivets, snaps, and buckles, and in pursuit of a sturdy finish, they are firmly fastened using a heavy hammer.
7. Hand-embroidered flags
We will embroider the colors of the Croatian flag, which is the most charming feature of this item.
Holes are made with a special punch and sewn with a thick needle.
At this time, the thread is waxed to prevent it from loosening.
8. Finishing touches
Finally, sew the body and gusset together, then trim off any excess leather and carefully polish it.
After that, the separate internal coin purse and other parts are attached to the main body with rivets.
The previously flat parts have now become three-dimensional and turned into a wallet!!

9. Inspection
Another craftsman inspects the product.
We mainly check whether the product is well-made, such as whether the thread is properly handled and whether the metal fittings are securely fastened.
Then, check the schedule and place it on the shipping shelf.
10. We handle shipping
We will check the delivery note and package it accordingly.
Free gift wrapping will also be provided at this time.
In reality, it takes cutting on the first day, production on the second day, and inspection and shipping on the third day.
I hope that the shipment will be completed and that it will reach you safely.
