Founded in 2009, Japlsih opened an atelier and shop near Ohori Park in Fukuoka City in 2011. Twelve years later, in May 2023, the atelier moved to its current location in Sanno and opened a directly managed store.

Our shop is located right next to Sanno Park, one of the largest parks in Fukuoka City. It's a great place to relax, but it's a bit far from the nearest station. Please see the map below.
17-minute walk from Hakata Station
Exit the Chikushi Exit, turn right, pass Yodobashi Camera and you will come to Chikushi Street.
Walk along Chikushi-dori, cross Hyakunenbashi-dori, turn left just before the 7-Eleven and continue on to arrive.
17 minutes walk from Higashi-Hie Station
Continue along Hyakunenbashi Street towards Hirao, turn left at Mizuho intersection and continue along Chikushi Street.
Turn left just before the 7-Eleven and continue straight to arrive.
Alternatively, walk along the Mikasa River towards Hakata Civic Center.

Chikushi-dori, which connects Hakata Station and Lalaport, is a major street close to the store.
We do not have a dedicated parking lot, but there are paid parking lots next to the store and nearby.
*Please be aware that there are many one-way streets around the store.
History
Japlish started in 2007 from a room in an apartment in Daimyo, Fukuoka City.
Then, in 2010, he opened an atelier and shop in the port area.
In 2023, we moved to Sanno, Hakata Ward.
Our store has now become well-known as a place for "Fukuoka leather products," and customers come from other prefectures to visit.
*We do not provide repairs for other companies or sell leather craft materials.

Name engraving is done during the manufacturing process, so names cannot be sewn onto store-bought items. If you would like a name engraved, it will be an order item and will take two weeks to be delivered.

We can change the leather color, thread color, and name of our basic products free of charge.
We can change the size or arrange our products for a fee.

Oil maintenance is provided free of charge.
For repairs to metal fittings, etc., we will take the item in and then return it to you in-store or by shipping.
We plan to sell original maintenance oil.
We do not have cleaning facilities, so we cannot remove stains, dirt, or mold that has soaked into the leather.
(Oil care will help remove some of the dirt. Also, simple stains can be removed with a special eraser.)
It is not possible to remove external or internal odors or scents.
We can of course repair our own products, but we do not repair or modify products made by other companies.
We also do not accept dyeing.
(*We may accept requests for drilling holes or replacing rivets that do not require machine sewing.)
We are sorry, but we are not currently offering remade randoseru bags. However, we are planning to offer remade randoseru bags in the future.
