[The brand's first commemorative walking pouch]
It was first prototyped as a personal item for the owner and was actually used as a secondary bag.
It all started around 2005 when the owner, OSA, who loves traveling abroad, created a security pouch to store a mini guidebook, passport, and wallet.
When he later went independent and launched Japlish in 2009, this pochette was chosen as the first commemorative item.
It features a string-type shoulder strap that doesn't take up much space inside your bag and a slim gusset silhouette.
Available in portrait and landscape orientations
Currently, there are two types available: vertical and horizontal.
The bottom is made of two-tone buckskin, allowing you to enjoy the texture of the leather.
You can also adjust the length by changing the knot in the string.
Original button closure
The buttons used to open and close the bag were originally purchased from a flea market.
After that, we collaborated with a hardware maker to create original anchor buttons, and have since started using original anchor hardware as standard.
It is not a typical hook and eye button, but is rather threaded through a hole like a button on clothing.
The embroidery around the buttons is the Portuguese flag, and the stitching throughout is white.

The vertical walking pouch [sb--1] was created with this concept in mind, and now a horizontal version has been born.
The lid is fitted with holes for buttons, just like on clothes.
It features a string-type shoulder strap that doesn't take up much space inside your bag and a slim gusseted silhouette.
Improvements to the product include replacing commercially available buttons with original anchors, and using buckskin on the bottom for a two-tone look.
The embroidery around the buttons is the Portuguese flag, and the overall stitching is white.

Add an inner pocket for a fee
Why not increase functionality by adding an inner pocket?
There is an additional charge of 1,650 yen for both horizontal and vertical orientations.
The additional location is a full-width pocket on the inside back.
To keep the weight down, the inner pocket is made of dark brown or black leather.
Please note that the color may differ from the leather color of the main body.

The camel-colored genuine leather plate can be engraved with up to 15 uppercase letters. The plate comes with a string so it can be attached and removed.

Leather is a natural material where no two pieces are exactly alike, but by changing the sewing thread used to sew the entire product, a ``one-of-a-kind masterpiece'' is born.
Sewing thread can completely change the impression of a product.

The hand-sewn embroidery accents include anchor motifs and the three-stripe national flag motif.
In the West, the anchor is a sacred shape that represents "hope." At Japlish, we aim to create leather products that are imbued with hope by carefully hand-stitching each piece.
In addition, the word Japlish originally means "Japanese English" or "English spoken by Japanese people abroad," and with the desire to spread our wings from Japan to the world, we have also used the national flag as an embroidered motif.
The embroidery color scheme and motif are fixed for each product, but as a free option, you can choose from 12 colors: white, red, green, khaki, black, brown, gold, light blue, navy blue, yellow, purple, and gray. You can also change the three stripes to anchor embroidery.
