Japlish(ジャプリッシュ）は2009年に創業した福岡の革製品アトリエです。
少人数の作り手だけでデザイン、裁断、縫製、仕上げまでの全工程を担当しています。
「安心できる素材で、適正な価格で販売すること」「使っていてホッとする暖かみのあるモノ作り」を目指しています。
大量生産をしていないので全国的なブランドではありませんが、20年、30年と愛され続ける革製品アトリエになるように日々ミシンを踏み続けています。

History
Brand History
Japlish was founded in 2009, but its roots go back another 10 years.
The story begins when our CEO, OSA, and a friend started learning leather crafting on their own.
In 2002, he joined the Shibuya bag manufacturer HERZ and moved to Fukuoka to launch HERZ Hakata.
When I was thinking about going independent, I came across the word "japlish."
Japlish, which means "Japanese English" or "poor English used when traveling," was used as the brand name and was born on January 14, 2009.
About the creator
He joined the HERZ leather workshop in Shibuya, and after opening the HERZ Hakata store, he went independent.
I have lived in Fukuoka for over 15 years and am familiar with the cityscape, food, and lifestyle of Fukuoka.
I currently live with my wife, one-year-old daughter, and three cats.

Materials and brand lines
Japlish uses cowhide tanned in Japan.
There are two types of leather: soft leather and oil leather, each with its own brand line: [Japlish] and [Marillo].
