Leather sample book to resolve any pre-shopping concerns

Japlish products are made from original leather produced by a tanner in Himeji.

This is a high-quality combination leather that changes over time without changing excessively, making it a material that we can confidently recommend.

However, since we mainly sell our products at our physical store in Hakata, it is currently difficult for people outside of Fukuoka Prefecture to see our products in person.

Therefore, we have prepared a color sample book that allows you to check the leather and color before ordering Japlish products.
You can enjoy ordering with confidence by holding the actual leather in your hands and checking the texture and thickness.

The leather sample book is free so that you can browse at your leisure.

Delivery is free and will be delivered via post.

It will be sent in a special white envelope.

We will not make excessive solicitations to those who apply for a sample book, so please feel free to apply.

Japlish has two types of products: the main line, Japlish, and the men's line, Martillo, and they use different types of leather.

Each leather color chip is pasted on a sample book.

Japlish soft leather in 6 colors

Most of the products in the Japlish line are made from this leather.

Please note that hard leather differs from soft leather in both color and texture, and is different from the leather color chips in the leather sample book.

Martillo oil leather in four colors

Martillo, a popular brand among men, is made of elegant and chic oiled leather in four colors.

*From winter 2024 to spring 2025, "Oil Leather" will change to "Oil Pull-Up Leather".

The color of the leather will not change when it becomes pull-up leather, but the texture will be slightly different.

What is oil pull-up leather?

It has more oil soaked into it than regular oil leather.
Its distinctive feature is the change in color when it is bent. When pressure is applied, the oil migrates and the color becomes whitish.

Important points to note when using leather color samples

There are a few things to note about the sample book.

• Generally, each person is limited to one book (with the following exceptions).
• We understand that there may be cases where you purchase multiple items as gifts. In such cases, multiple purchases are possible. Multiple sample books will be placed in one envelope.
• It will be delivered by regular mail or courier service and will arrive in your mailbox in about 4-5 days.
